Do I have to pay to use EquitySet?

No. We have a completely free account, that does not require any credit card to sign up, join or continue being a member. In fact, we push people to sign up via the free account first, before even mentioning about signing up for premium.

What types of accounts exist?

We have a free account and a premium account. When you initially sign up for an account it is a free account. You are given access to some of the premium features (such as ratings and price targets). This free access to ratings and price targets lasts for 14 days, no credit card required. If you are looking to sign up for the premium account, it has to be upgraded into by you, and includes additional features and data sets not available in the free account.

What happens at the end of my 14 day free access?

After your 14 day free access to ratings and price targets ends, you still retain your free account, with access to everything accept ratings, price targets and premium features. A credit card will never be required for those free accounts, and you can utilize the platform for as long as you like.

How does the 7 day free premium trial work?

When you upgrade to a premium account you automatically get a free 7 day trial with it. This 7 day trial starts from the day you upgrade (even if your original 14 day free access is not over). If you cancel at any point during the 7 day free trial you are not billed.

If you cancel after the 7 day free trial ends, you will have access until the end of the billing period. No refund is given.

If you cancel before the 7 day free trial ends, but not before your 14 day free access to ratings and price targets technically ends, you will still be able to see them until 14 days from your original account creation date.

When do I get billed?

For first time premium account users you get billed at the end of your 7 day trial. This means you will be billed on the 8th day of having upgraded to a premium account. Recurring billing will happen on the anniversary day of the month that your trial ended.

How do I cancel?

To do so you will log into your account and, go to "View Account" and select "Billing". Or go directly to this URL when logged in: On that page you will see a section that says "Cancel your trial / plan". Clicking this will open a prompt that has you confirm the cancellation of your premium account.

Can I cancel a premium plan and at a later date re-sign up?

Yes. You can always cancel a premium plan and then re-sign up for a premium plan at a later date. However you will only get the 7 day free trial for the premium plan the first time you upgrade. Any future times you will be billed the subscription price right away.
